With a remarkable 43-year career in sports production, this industry titan spent 37 years at ESPN, shaping college football coverage as a live event producer, innovator, executive producer, and vice-president. For 21 years, they led production for ESPN/ABC’s College Football and bowl game broadcasts, delivering iconic moments to millions. A nine-year member of ESPN’s Editorial Board, they also served four years as the network-wide lead for Production Innovation and New Technology, driving groundbreaking advancements like the CFB/NFL PylonCam, CFB Ref Cam, and CFB Megacast™ SkyCast.
A three-time Sports Emmy Award winner for ESPN’s College Football Playoff Megacast, Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli, and College Football National Championship Technical Coverage, their contributions earned them a spot as a 2022 Sports Business Journal Sports Broadcast Innovation Power Player. Reflecting on their journey, they vividly recall their first bowl game memory from the 1989 Mazda Gator Bowl, where, as graphics producer, they witnessed Vince Dooley’s final game as Georgia’s head coach and Andre Rison’s 50-yard game-winning touchdown for Michigan State.
