Coca-Cola Bowl Season

Coca-Cola Bowl Season is the advocating body for all 45 bowl games that serve as the postseason for all FBS college football teams. It is governed by an executive committee consisting of nine current executive bowl directors.  

Nick Carparelli serves as the Executive Director of Coca- Cola Bowl Season. Nick has been in this role since January 2020, after Wright Waters announced retirement from his position with the Football Bowl Association

Teams become bowl eligible when they earn six wins during the regular season (.500). There are 43 bowl games, serving 84 total teams. 

Coca-Cola Bowl Season and College Football Playoff both work as the postseason for FBS college football teams. Coca-Cola Bowl Season includes all 45 games, usually beginning in December and ending with the CFP Championship.  

Coca-Cola Bowl Season does not work as the governing body for all bowl games, but works as the advocating source to enhance the unity of all games. 

Building on a one hundred year-old brand, the Football Bowl Association is now recognized as Coca-Cola Bowl Season.
