BOWL SEASON

Upon his retirement after 31 years at ESPN, Pete created Teamwork Sports and Entertainment in 2021.  Since that time, he has served as an advisor to ESPN Events for the Hawaii Bowl, the Myrtle Beach Bowl and the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl in Montgomery.  He also has served the National Football Foundation, sports marketing companies Bespoke and Fishbait Solutions, the Mid American Conference, and Palm Beach State College.
In his 31 years at ESPN, he served as the Sr. Vice President for College Sports and Events.  He was instrumental in ESPN's development and ownership of 17 bowl games, 11 basketball events, an elite softball event and two college award shows.

He has been inducted into the State of Alabama Sports Hall of Fame as the Distinguished American Sportsman in 2017.  He also has been inducted into the Las Vegas Bowl Hall of Fame, the Celebration Bowl (ATL) Hall of Fame, and the Bowl Season Leadership HOF.

Pete serves on the executive committee board of the Mike Slive Foundation and the Coach Safely Foundation.
