Known for its music scene, entertaining atmosphere and energetic spirit, Nashville is no stranger to excitement. In 1998 the pride of Nashville only grew stronger as the Music City Bowl was born. Full of attractions and venues, Nashville welcomes visiting college football fans with open arms and hopes to offer memories that will last forever. Its $250 million economic impact is a reflection of the pride of the music city and $35,000 in contributions to Youth Football member leagues in 2011 echo the impact of this bowl game off the field. But it doesn’t stop there; more than $380,000 has been donated to the Franklin American Mortgage Charity Cup since 2007 to support Middle Tennessee flood relief and recovery. The Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl offers an opportunity for those involved to experience Nashville, Tennessee and all that the city stands for. There is no question that what this bowl game stands for is truly BIGGER THAN THE GAME.
