TOP 150 BOWL GAME PLAYERS ANNOUNCED

AS PART OF CFB150 CELEBRATION

Over the years, thousands upon thousands of college football players have competed in their team's end-of-season bowl game.
For some, the bowl game represents the last time in their lives they'll put on a uniform and play football of any kind.
For others, a bowl opportunity could come in a player's first or second year in a program.
For a fortunate few, the bowl game is a player's reward at the conclusion of each of his years of eligibility.
No matter what the circumstance, bowl games have produced some of the greatest players in history.  Some of them went on to stardom in the National Football League.

Still others made their mark in careers that didn't involve shoulder pads or cleats.
Culling down the various player lists was an exercise in an effort to blend the past with the present.  Input was provided, and graciously accepted, by the media members and others associated with college football on the administrative level.
By no means is the list one of the greatest 150 players ever.  It is, instead, a listing of the top 150 players who took part in at least one college bowl game from the very first one, in 1900, to the present day.
So, as an integral part of College Football 150, we present the Top 150 players in bowl games.  They are listed in alphabetical order, by first name.
